Double the Sun’ from PanAmerican Seed is a highly improved F1 hybrid perennial Coreopsis valued for its exceptional floriferous nature and compact habit. Unlike many older varieties that bloom once and fade, this cultivar blooms continuously from late spring through late summer and into fall, living up to its name with non-stop sunny color.
The plant produces masses of bright, golden-yellow flowers that are semi-double to fully double, measuring about 1.5 inches across. It forms a uniform, tidy mound, growing approximately 10 to 12 inches (25–30 cm) tall and wide. ‘Double the Sun’ is a very low-maintenance, hardy plant that thrives in full sun conditions and is notably tolerant of heat and drought once established. It is an excellent choice for adding reliable, cheerful color to garden beds, borders, and patio containers, and attracts pollinators like butterflies and bees.
