The Duchess series is specifically bred for superior performance in both nursery production and home gardens. Unlike older varieties, Duchess is genetically compact, reaching a height of 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) with a similar spread, ensuring it never becomes “leggy.” It is one of the earliest Torenia series to flower, often blooming up to two weeks ahead of competitors.This mix features a beautiful palette of colors, including Blue, Deep Blue, Pink, and White, all characterized by their distinct “wishbone” structure and contrasting throats. While most Torenia prefer shade, the Duchess series is exceptionally heat tolerant, allowing it to perform reliably in humid and warm climates where other shade plants might struggle. It is ideal for 10-cm pots, color bowls, and mixed containers located in partial to full shade.
