Cauliflower Valentena (Pink) 200 Syngent

Cauliflower Valentena (also marketed as ‘Violetta’ or ‘Purple Head’) is a visually stunning specialty hybrid developed by Syngenta. The deep purple color comes from high levels of antioxidants (anthocyanins) and intensifies when cooked lightly or exposed to sunlight. The plant is vigorous, producing uniform, high-density, dome-shaped curds. Valentena has a milder, sweeter flavor than traditional white cauliflower and less of the typical “cauliflower smell.” It is an excellent choice for eye-catching vegetable platters, steaming, and high-end culinary applications.
