Nicotiana
Nicotiana is a genus of flowering plants in the nightshade family (Solanaceae), famous for Nicotiana tabacum and N. rustica, the main sources of tobacco for smoking and other uses, containing nicotine, but also includes popular ornamental plants (flowering tobacco) grown for their fragrant, tubular flowers. These ornamental varieties offer height and color in gardens, blooming in shades of white, pink, purple, and green, often with night-scented, incense-like fragrances.
